Aquaman Movie Review 2018

Hello, Maders! Have you watched Aquaman? It’s about Arthur Curry, the member of Justice League in DC Comics. He is the king of Atlantis and master of the ocean. He looks muscular and serious, but he has a sense of humor. Anyway, I watched this movie alone, surrounded by couples. I played Rubik’s cube before the movie played.

So, I’m going to discuss a few things in Aquaman scenes. The story starts from how Arthur’s parents meet. His mom is the queen of Atlantis, and his dad is the lighthouse keeper. Then, Arthur comes to earth. Arthur is different (special) because he’s mix-blood and half-breed, the son of the land, the king of the sea.

The conflict begins when Orm (Arthur’s step brother) recruits other underwater kingdoms to attack the land. The sea gets polluted because of human, so Orm wants to have a revenge. Here, Arthur wants to stop Orm because killing human won’t solve the problem. Arthur must defeat Orm in a battle. The only way to win it is by using King Atlan’s trident. Arthur gets a help from Mera, Orm’s fiancé, for the journey of finding the golden trident.

Mera looks like Ariel, the Disney mermaid. She has bright red long hair and a beautiful face. Nevertheless, she swims with normal feet like human. Arthur and Mera can breath underwater or in the surface, every royal family can do so. The father of Mera is the actor named Dolph Lundgren. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! He’s old but charming. OMG! I’ve loved him before this.

The phrase “so be it” has been spoken many times in this movie. I noticed it. Aquaman has a new enemy here, Black Manta, and he looks like ‘Ksatria Baja Hitam’. Just wait for it. Moreover, the palace of Atlantis before it’s drowned is just the same with the cartoon of Atlantis (led by Queen Kidagakash) I watched years ago. 

This film has funny moments. One of which is when Mera eats roses. Another is when Atlantian buries his face on toilet. He needs water because he can’t breath on the land. But he has no idea if it’s the place for pooping. On the other hand, there are touching moments on Arthur parents’ parting and meeting again. I cried twice on these scenes! Hahaha.

Aquaman is very recommended to watch for those who love fantasy. The adventure of Arthur Curry is amazing. There are many fighting scenes and unique underwater creatures, scary but attractive. I always watch DC and Marvel movies because I love superheroes. Well, that’s all for the review. Happy watching Aquaman, Maders!

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

Hi, Maders! On November 20, I watched Fantastic Beast 2 with my friend. We booked the tickets in the morning by TIX ID application and we could watch the movie in the afternoon at 12pm. Sometimes TIX ID can be used for booking movie tickets not only on the D-day, but also for the following days if it’s presale. I usually book the ticket on the D-day. This app is really helpful because I don’t have to queue at cinema.

Firstly, my friend visited my house and kept his motorcycle there. We went together to Transmart with my motorcycle. Dad suggested me to drive a car but I refused because the parking area would be crazy. I was happy enough with the motorcycle and fortunately the weather was fine.

The things we did when we entered the mall were going to toilets and changing the movie codes at cinema. As always, the tickets were only thin paper. It used to be thicker, but nevermind! We walked around the mall and tried expensive glasses. We took selfie with it.

A few weeks ago, I challenged my friend to ride a roller coaster because he’s never done it. Then we went to Trans Studio Mini upstairs and enjoyed the roller coaster. I felt afraid but he got confidence. Finally we screamed and laughed till our eyes were full with water. Challenge complete! I have the full video of my Roller Coaster Ride if you’re interested. Funny and silly, absolutely!

The movie would be played soon and we prayed before going back to the cinema. We talked and discussed the characters in the movie. I know it’s rather disturbing for other people but we tried to lower our voices. Haha. Sorry! It’s nice to have someone who knows fantasy stuff like him.

Well, I think Fantastic Beast is a bit disappointing. I expected a massive war between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. This point of this movie is that Grindelwald recruited his followers. Newt met Tina again but there is a misunderstanding about their relationship. On the other hand, I’m glad to watch this movie because there is Nagini. Based on the story, she comes from Sumatera, INDONESIA. Even you can hear the statement clearly from a circus owner in the movie.

I appreciate any kind of movie including this Fantastic Beast. Making a movie is hard and complicated. I won’t mock a movie because the scoring depends on our taste. This is just what I feel after watching Fantastic Beast. I think there will be the next movie of Fantastic Beast. The ending hasn’t really been the ending. I can’t wait for it. I will surely watch it again.

Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween Review

Hey, Maders! This afternoon I watched Goodsebumps (Haunted Halloween) at Cinema XXI. I bought the ticket from TIX ID and chose A9 to sit. It’s less than a week I have TIX ID, a very good application to buy movie tickets. This time I watched the movie enjoyably alone.

I went back from school at 11 PM, changing bag at my house, then going to the cinema by motorcycle. 

I wore my uniform to the mall because I hid my real identity. Haha. People would have thought I was a high school student. Next, I printed my ticket at XXI and saved it on my pocket.

I had an hour to spend. I walked around the mall, going upstairs to look for Kotex. I’m having my period right now and this is my first day. At cashier, there was a woman buying many things and I needed to wait for 15 minutes. Patiently tiring!

For lunch, I was about to buy takoyaki but the price was 25k with only 4 takoyakis. Nope, thanks. Finally I bought Dong Hae (Korean Chicken). I REGRETTED! The portion is very little (compared to Citraland’s). OMG! It wasn’t worth for 25k.

Well, now I’m going to talk about Goosebumps. It’s a fantastic horror movie with funny scenes. I hardly saw the subtitles because I trained my English through this movie. The actors spoke slowly and it’s very clear American accent.

Honestly this movie was entertaining and awesome. The story is about a dummy named Slappy, wanting to control the worlds with other puppets. Slappy was a kind of little man with black suit, creepy face, sharp eyes, and alive evil doll. There were gummy-bears attack, bullying, science project on Tesla, heart broken, and so on.

My favorite scene was the process of making camouflage to mingle with the ghosts. With the help of a neighbor, the main characters made their own costumes like a witch, a skeleton, and a pumpkin man. In contrast, I didn’t like all scenes whenever Slappy came up suddenly. Haha. You know, it’s astonishing and I closed my eyes several times.

I recommend this movie for teenagers and adults. Beware, there would be a kissing scene on this movie and it’s not being censored. Probably it will be censored when it’s played on TV. Dunno!

For the next, I’m waiting Fantastic Beast (The Crimes of Grindelwald). I’ve read all Harry Potter books including The Cursed Child and I want to know more about Grindewald, the evil wizard.

ReFIT Club Gym Simpang Lima Semarang

Hello, Maders! In July, I joined for being a member of ReFIT Club Gym for a month. The normal price should have been 300k but I got Ramadhan promotion, so it’s only 195k. I did this because I wanted to decrease fat. In fact, my weight gained one kilo in the end of the month. Hahahaha. It failed because I didn’t control my food. Well, I was proudly tortured when I was in 48kgs, but my life feels happier when I’m in 50kgs.

There are six available classes for the members such as yoga, ReAction, ReCon, zumba, pilates, and TRX. It’s up to you if you want to join those classes or not, but it’s scheduled. Personally, I love yoga because it teaches how to breath and communicate with our body.

Usually I joined a class starting at 7 AM, then I ran using a treadmill, and finally I took a bath. The women’s shower and locker are good enough, located in the third floor. 

The first floor is for registration and entering, the second floor is where treadmills and other sport stuff available with the men’s shower and locker, the third floor is the room of fitness classes next to the women’s shower and locker. The fourth floor is the office of ReFIT and honestly I haven’t gone there (forbidden, I guess).

Making friends is another activity I did there. My other mates were friendly. They’re mostly Chinese descendants. My closer friend, Niken, was four years younger than me, she’s a dentist wanna be, studying at Gadjah Mada University.

I’d love to join ReFIT again someday when I have school holiday because I can’t leave my school activity. For now, I’m still doing yoga but it’s in KWU Unnes, twice a week with different instructors. My mom joined me.
