SUN Education Fair and IELTS Simulation Test

Hey, Maders! How’s your weekend? I had a lovely one. Yesterday, I went to Crown Plaza Hotel to attend SUN Education Fair and do IELTS test simulation.

As usual, the event was held on the 7th floor of the hotel. In order to spend the time while waiting the even started, I walked around in Paragon mall and ate 3 flavored porridge at my favorite Chinese restaurant, Ta Wan.

Then, I climbed upstairs by escalators. I had to register myself and fill a form on a laptop. A couple days ago I made a call to enroll my name for this event. I got an orange bag along with a pen and a thick book about overseas study guide.

The second registration was for IELTS test simulation. It wasn’t like a real test because the amount of the questions was just a half. Still, it’s very hard to do. I didn’t even feel sure with my answers. Haha. Just did it.

I need an hour to finish the test. Oh yeah, Whatsapp had a new feature like Snapchat or Instagram story. It’s called Whatsapp status. I took some pictures and post them there. I used it a lot because it’s simpler. My viewers were my friends on my phone contact. I didn’t have to add them or something. They could see what I post, so could I.

After that, I decided to go to the Red Cross to donor my blood. It’s been three months and my schedule’s coming. I’d always love to donor my blood to help others. Blood’s in my body and it would always be produced. In return, I’d pray that I’d always have a healthy body to continue this habit.

Well, Maders, spend your weekend with joyful and useful activities. If you don’t have anything to do, I think reading a book you like is the best answer. Haha. Depends on your hobby though. On the other hand, if you’re brave enough or at least try to be brave, just try to donor your blood to the Red Cross. When you’ve given for the 10th times, you’ll get an achievement. It’s fun, isn’t it? Have a good day, Maders.

The Lego Batman Movie

Hello, Maders! Have you watched The Lego Batman movie? It's just been released in this February. This afternoon I watched it at E-Plaza. Let me tell you a little bit about it.

Batman, as we know, is a superhero that lives in Gotham City. He has a deep voice that makes anyone melted. Haha. This time, Batman is a lego, but he looks cool though.

His house has a password that is “Iron-Man’s sucks”. It means that he hates Iron Man as well as superman. I think they should cooperate in order to save the world. Don’t hate each other please, Heroes!

The movie is about friendship and trust. The statement “we have to stick together” is being said many times. Batman always works alone and he doesn’t trust others to help him much. Until he meets Robin because Alfred brings him, Batman changes to be a better person.

Firstly, Batman doesn’t let Robin call him ‘dad’. Haha. Batman never marries a woman. He probably has to. Robin is a good kid I guess. I always laugh when I see Robin rips his trouser because he can’t move freely while wearing it.

Another funny part is about Joker. He is about to cry when Batman doesn’t admit that Joker is Batman’s greatest enemy. The phrase ‘I hate you’ seems like ‘I love you’ because both Batman and Joker express it with a deep feeling.

This is one of Batman movies but you can see many characters in it such as Voldemort and Sauron. Haha. It’s the combination of the villains from other stories. So creative!

I always admire the movie director, the script writer, and the animator as well as all crew. The movie won’t be good if they’re not working together. Team work! It’s the thing being discuss too in the movie. BAT(man) stands for Be A Team (if I’m not mistaken).

Above all, this is a recommended movie to watch. You will laugh and feel sad (to Batman). Happy Thursday, Maders!

The Life of Chickens

Hey, Maders! Do some of you have chickens? I have chickens at a small farm behind my house, but honestly I don’t think much about them. Dad takes care of them and I just sell the eggs sometimes to my friends.

I was at campus and about to go to a copy center when I saw chickens. A female with its kids. Suddenly I thought about their life. The chickens were there seeking for food on the ground without a male. Yeah, a rooster!

I guess the rooster is quite cruel to leave its kids and wife. Haha. Okay, they’re chickens, not human. I know! But could you imagine it? Girls, when you live without a husband but you have kids, don’t you feel miserable? Definitely!

Chickens depend on intuition to live in this world. When I see them being killed for food, I always say to myself, “thank God, I’m not a chicken!” It sounds silly but that’s the reality. I look at my surrounding and analyze how things go on. Is it a critical thinking? I’ve had it since I was a kid.

Asking things is my interest. I want to know how something works. Thanks to my parents because they patiently reply my questions. I become a critical thinker. In my opinion, I’m not a genius, but I’m diligently clever.

Back to the chicken stuff, what I’m going to say is that we need to be nice to animals and other creatures. God has created various kinds of life. We, human, are not alone. We can’t survive without food. The food comes from both plants and animals. They’re gone, we die.

Chickens on the street may not be valuable when you see them clowning around. In contrast, they will transform into precious deliciously food when you cook them with proper process.

Well, Maders, be good for all animals and plants because they’re living creatures as well. Stay positive and keep being healthy! Bye bye!

Seeing a Dentist and Watching Silat Tournament

Hello, Maders! Have you seen your dentist for the last six months? I saw mine this morning because it’s time to clean my teeth regularly. Still, I felt nervous waiting for my turn. I went to Elisabeth Hospital with mom and Shafa, my neighbor. She came with us because we planned to watch silat tournament at 10 Junior High School, Semarang City.

When my mom was about to park the car, it’s said that the parking area was full. We took valley service then and got special space. Problem solved! Before seeing the dentist, we paid the administration to the third floor. I forgot to bring my patient card, but that’s all right.

Before my turn, my mom went to the dentist room first because we both were patients. I was opening my Instagram using my iPad while waiting. I was afraid. When my name was called by the nurse, I went inside and sat down. The process began. I felt satisfied when it’s done for 15 minutes.

Above all, the dentist is professional and he’s been taking care of my teeth for years. The equipment’s complete and cool, the room’s clean. Although the payment is expensive, I need to have regular checkup every 6 months for the sake of my teeth.

Next, I went to watch silat tournament and met my martial art friends. Mom left me with Shafa because the car had to get serviced. In the beginning, I watched the tournament by slipping among people without sitting down. After I got bored, I came out to breath fresh air from the school yard.

When the praying time was heard, my friends and I went to a mosque. After praying, we bought some street food. Cheap and tasty! I spent much time to read something on my iPad and sat facing the field. I was no longer watching the tournament.

I met new friends and shook hands. What made me uncomfortable was a gossip that there’s a boy getting into me. He didn’t approach me directly anyway, having no bravery to talk. We had ‘something’ in the past, but everything’s changed. I kept being cool and put it away.

I’m glad when I know boys admiring me, but let me tell you to make the first move. Boys must be brave. Well, have a good time, Maders!
