Pu'dot Na'fa Pudding and Scrabble

Hi, Maders! Do you like pudding? It’s nice to eat it after your main meal. One day, Mbak Dewi from Telkomsel gave me pudding when I visited her. It’s a few months ago actually. She bought some from her colleague and gave me two bottles. The pudding was special because it’s put inside bottles and given name as Pu’dot (Pudding Dot).

I thought the pudding was yogurt because it’s inside bottle. Usually pudding is put in cups. But when I ate it, hmm it’s in fact pudding! I should have trusted the labels. Hahaha.

It’s common when I visit Mbak Dewi at her office because it’s nice to be at Telkomsel, the coolest office I’ve ever worked with. I was having internship there and that’s why I love it. Plus, we (I mean Telkomsel and I) have the same birthday date. Same year!

I also love playing scrabble with friends (or alone). Scrabble is a smart game because we have to think about words while playing it. I usually use multiple languages, depends on with whom I play.

To be honest, the price of the scrabble was expensive. It cost me two hundred rupiahs more. I thought it would be only around one hundred rupiahs. But that’s fine! I got the money from Dad anyway. Hahaha.

Oh yes, one thing that shocked me when I visited Mbak Dewi was that she’s pregnant! OMG! Alhamdulilah! She has told me a long time ago that she wanted to have one more kid, she has had two children. This is gonna be exciting when I go to her house and they’ll have a baby. I love babies!
They have tiny cute stuff. So adorable!

Well, that’s my review for Pu’dot. Thank you Mbak Dewi for all <3 Happy Eating Pudding, Maders! Don’t have some? Go and buy it. Hahhha. Have a nice day.

The Old Man and The Son

Hi, Maders! Have you ever met an inspiring figure? Since I was a kid, I know about a real story of a man who always looks for his son in the evening because his son always wanders alone from home. Their home is near my ex-house assistant and she has told me a lot about them.
Anyway, I choose 'the old man and the son' as the title because it sounds like Hemingway's The Old Man and The Sea. Hehehe

Now I have grown up and my way of thinking becomes more critical. I’m a language student, so I love stories. This time I’d like to share their amazing tale to you. To keep their privacy, I won’t say their names and show their faces, just a picture originally taken by me.

On Saturday (almost) evening, I accidentally saw the old man and the son on the sideways while I was driving a car. Then I pulled over in front of them. It was the first time I talked to the old man although I have watched them since a long time ago. They’re famous actually because everyone around knows that the son always wanders and the old man will look for him when it’s time to go home. He has much love for his ‘special’ son.

I said I was a journalist from my university and I needed their picture because I wanted to write a story about them. Without any hesitation, the old man agreed and asked his son to stand still. Within a minute, I took their picture with my ipad. After that, I thanked them and left.

As long as I remember, in the morning the son always wanders a bit far from his house since I was still in kindergarten. Sometimes people will give him money or food when he passes by. Next, the old man will try to look for him from 3 P.M. and they will come home together at 5 P.M. This happens everyday. Not feeling tired or confused, the old man always successfully meets his son. Incredible, isn’t it?

From this discussion, I’m gonna say that the love from parents never ends. Even if you’re super duper naughty, yeah probably the parents will be mad at you, but you should know that they love you. Hmm in the movie sometimes the parents throw away their children because they get no love, trust me, they will regret on the other day! To be honest my dad is firm, but he always gives me money so I can complete my Harry Potter series. Haha. Thanks Dad! And thanks Mom for paying my expensive piano course! I’ll do my best! Love you! Bye, Maders!

Making Passport at Immigration Office

Heyho, Maders! Have you ever gone overseas? Surely you need a passport, don’t you? It’s like international citizenship card to let you go anywhere in this world. Hm, there’s visa too actually but this time I just wanna talk about passport.

I made my passport at Immigration Office 7th floor, HSBC Building at Gajahmada Street, Semarang. The main office is at Siliwangi Street, but it’s too far for me. Just the same anyway.

Firstly, you go inside and tell the security that you’d like to make passport and take the queuing number. Extra patience! I warn you. Hahaha. Then the customer service will call your number and you give them the documents needed such as certificate of birth, family card, and identity card along with the copies. If it’s done, you’ll receive a form to fill out while going back to sit.

Next, you’ll be waiting again for interview and photo session. Another extra patience! Honestly, the questions are about what country you’ll visit and why. Mostly people will say Singapore and for holiday. Yeah, right!

Look, you must be polite with the staff. Give them your big smile and bright face. I know you’re tired, so are they! If you can laugh together with the staff during the interview, it will be awesome and the process will go well. Trust me! Some of the people there were having trouble with the server. Pray a lot and gain luck, okay.

Finally, you can go home and transfer the money to BNI. My advice is to transfer through teller cause you’ll get payment proof from the bank. Better than you do it through ATM. After the payment, you need to wait for 3-4 days and go back to the immigration office to take your passport. Simple!

Don’t hesitate to make passport because it can be used for 5 years. We have no idea what is gonna happen in the future right. Although you get no plan for going abroad, you had better still make the passport. Who knows there’s a sudden agenda to go abroad with your family or someone pays the whole of your traveling fee. Ahhh, amin!

Well, that’s all for today. Thanks for reading my blog. Happy making passport, Maders!
