PMC (Pit Mania Club)

What’s up, Maders? It’s me again and I’m going to talk about my new group as I’m being the member of Pit Mania Club (PMC). As long as I’m doing volunteer in a village, there are few things that make me happy. I may miss my parents so much, but I’ve got a lot of new friends here. Mostly they’re children. FYI, they have handsome brothers. Hahaha

It started when I saw a child named Andrew riding a bike with his friends. All children are having a bike. I wanted to try then I asked him to borrow his bike for a while. It’s been too long that I never ride a bike. I usually drive a motorcycle or car to campus.

After that, they ask me to join them regularly every afternoon. We explore the other parts of the village. There are woods and rocks with nice view. Aahh I rarely have this kind of experience.

The captain of PMC is the son’s of the village’s chief. Honestly it’s good to build good relationship among his father and my friends while we’re being volunteers. The boy recruited me to his club and I felt so delighted at that time. Although I’m the only girl there and the oldest, they’re kind to me.

I don’t bring my bike here in this village, so I always borrow someone’s bike. So far, Andrew always lends me one because he has five bikes. God, he’s damn rich. His house is fabulous compared to others’.

Recently, I’ve been so busy with my volunteer programs and not everyday I can ride a bike with PMC’s boys. I love it but I have the main priority. The chief of my volunteer group can be mad at me if I play too much.

When I meet PMC’s boys on the street, we will greet each other. It’s fun because I become popular among them rather than my other friends. The children know me well. I love when they shout my name out.

Thus, I’ve got a new hobby that is riding bike with boys. They’re cute and friendly. I’m wondering how cool they will be if they’re got older like me. Let’s see in ten years later. Personally, I have to say that they’re good looking. Haha. Yes, that’s true. Oh yes, I teach them English in my basecamp every night that makes us closer and closer.

Old Women

Heiho! Welcome back with me again, Maders! I’ve decided to name you all that have been being my readers, I mean the readers of this blog. The word “Maders” stands for “Malia” and “Readers”. Haha. Cool, isn’t it?

So today I’m gonna talk about old women. What comes to your mind after hearing the word “old”? I’d think of weak, traditional, and disease. Yeah old women used to be young ladies that were active and cheerful. Forgive me if I only talk about women, not men. It’s because I’m seeing mostly old women here in this village. Speaking of which, I’m doing a kind of voluntary program that put me in a village. Honestly, I miss my house and my “normal” life.

I see the old women in this village don’t do anything useful for the health of their mind. They just sleep, eat, and watch TV. Well, they may do housework and chores but it’s only little. They never read books or work out in order to be healthy inside and outside.

Those old women would easily forget something if they don’t care about their mental health. I’ve known a fact that the behavior of old people will go back like they’re becoming babies again. They would be childish and spoiled.

I feel sorry for being an old person but this is life. I cannot be forever young and that’s why I do things that I could do now. Perhaps I cannot play with skateboard and roller skates when I become a mother. My physical look will be worse and I’m trying to stay healthy though.

I wonder how I will be when I become a granny. My skin and bones would change and they won’t be as good as it has to be. Still, I will read many books to make my brain working. If I have a chance to live long, I would love to die soon after my business in this world is finished. I don’t want to be a burden for my children or people around me.

I would have much time to read and that’s the time when I do my hobby as it’s reading. Sitting on my bed and reading books with comfortable atmosphere are perfect. What I want to say is that you had better do useful things in life and be busy with books to make your brain working normally forever. Who wants to forget something easily? I believe none of you do.

Dilan and Milea

Hey there! This time I will talk about a novel entitled Dilan. Yes, it is a name of a guy that belongs to Milea, the girl. There are two series with the same title but different year. The first one is 1990 and the second one is 1991. I have it all and the day when I bought those novels, I was going out with my boss after watching Secret Life of Pets at XXI. There is a new novel of the series entitled Milea.

Dilan novel says the story from Milea’s perspective, and Milea novel says it from Dilan’s perspective. I haven’t bought Milea novel and maybe later. Honestly they’re damn expensive for romance novel. I don’t really like romance story because the ending sometimes can be guessed easily about with whom the main character goes on a date.

The reason why I bought those novel was because a guy telling me that he loves the story. He’s one of my KKN member. He calls me Milea because my name is closely similar to it. As a return, I call him Dilan. I knew Dilan series a long time ago but I was having no desire to buy it because it’s romance. I prefer fantasy and science fiction.

Let’s talk about the characters in the novel. Dilan and Malia are couple and they have unique love story. Dilan does silly things to impress Milea and convince her that he’s the special one. Milea’s concerned about Dilan’s activity because he’s one of the members of motorcycle gangster. Dilan often fights with people who mess up with him. It makes Milea worried.

To be honest, I feel no regret after knowing the plot of the story. These Dilan and Milea things are great. Let’s say that I want to raise Indonesian literature. I’ve already uploaded the novels to Narnia Library’s Instagram account. My friends there are from abroad and they’ll see my collection.

I tell you what, I’m delighted because I think it’s fabulous. Even though I’m not as pretty as Milea, but I have the nearly similar name. Milea in the story is well-described and she’s so beautiful I guess because almost every guy loves her, even her teacher.

Dilan has promise to Milea, that we’ll go to a library together. They love books. It’s nice when I find he that loves reading. They can be the characters in the story we read and they can make their own world through literary work.

Reading is my hobby since I’m being a literature student and I spend much money for books. Someday I wish that Narnia Library would be real and I own it, not only on my bookshelf in a room inside my house.
