Star Department Store

Hey, Maders! I’d like to continue my story after the wedding party. It was Saturday night and it would be useless if I just slept on bed early. My cousin’s family, my family, and I went to Star Department Store in Bekasi. We spent time there because the day after that I had to fly back to Semarang.

Firstly, I took a bath and removed all makeup on my face. There was a smooth cake which was my favorite and I ate it before having dinner. I borrowed my nephew’s short because mine was wet. I didn’t care with my look because I combined t-shirt, short, and high heels. What a weirdo!

Secondly, we went to the department store and we had a little traffic on the way there. Seriously, compared to Semarang, the traffic was crazier and I don’t think I could survive in a big city like Jakarta and around it. I love Semarang anyway!

When we arrived, I saw much difference in the mall. Yeah, it’s bigger and more luxurious. Even it has a big video-screen inside the mall. I was comparing what was there with my city has. Hhaha.

We had dinner in the food court and it didn’t have menu book, so we had to visit the counters to order the food. It’s not practical. Thank God, I would have menu book in Citraland when I eat in the food court. I decided to fried-chicken from KFC for my dinner. I tell you what, I had to wait in line for a very long time. Secretly, my nephew was waiting for me as well.

After that, we went back to our table and my other family had finished eating, but my nephew and I were about to start eating. He bought me a bottle of cold sweet tea although I already had coke from KFC.

There was a concert and Payung Teduh was in the show. There were other popular group bands but I didn’t know them so we all cancelled to see the show. Instead, we went to the first floor and bought stuff with big discount.

Well, that was a perfect night to spend with my big family. Thank you for all your kindness, My Cousin and Her Husband! I wish I could do the same thing for your sons when I have a nice job in the future.

Having Job at My Cousin's Wedding

Hi, Maders! Have you ever married? Haha. Kidding! But if you have, that’s okay because my readers are not only teenagers. (hopefully!) I became a flower girl recently. I don’t know what it is called but I greeted guests that came to the wedding.

It was my cousin’s wedding in Bekasi. There’s a great mosque named Masjid Nurani. For praying and wuduing, it has large area, but to be honest the ballroom doesn’t. Many people, more than five hundred, came to the wedding and I think it’s too small.

I stayed in my cousin’s house before going to the mosque. I wore my kebaya and makeup starting from five o’clock in the morning. It’s so early because there would be a long queue if I wasn’t quick. Well, the result was amazing. I hardly knew my own face because I was beautiful. Haha. No offence!

I met my big family from other cities and we felt happy. On the other hand, I introduced myself to new people and we became friends. They would be friendly if we kept polite. I love meeting new people! It increases my relation (and my followers on Instagram). Haha

I wouldn’t have had a chance to eat if my parents and my friends didn’t give me food on my table. From morning to afternoon, I stood up and sometimes sat and greeted the guests. I had to smile and gave them a gift that was a paper fan. Although I couldn’t see what the food was, at least I still could eat and feel full. Thank you, Guys!

I was so exhausted after that and wearing high heels all day long is a sacrifice. I usually wear sneakers everywhere I go. But it’s a special occasion, so I needed to do more.

My job was done at around two and I changed my outfit. I wore jeans and shirt, but still with high heels because I didn’t bring sneakers and my sandals were in my suitcase.

I got rained when I was going to the restroom to wash my face. My look was like a broken-hearted girl because I got wet and there were black lines under my eyes. I felt deadly cold as long as I was in a car going back to my other cousin’s house.

Trolls at Blitz Cyber Park

Sup, Maders! Have you watched Trolls movie? I have and I love it. It’s like musical drama because the characters sing many songs at every event. Depends on the moment.

I thought ‘trolls’ there would be big and scary. In fact, they’re tiny and cute. Do you know Smurfs? Naah, they look like ‘em. Also, the story is combination from Cinderella’s plot. Haha. I’m not going to talk further because you have to watch it yourself.

I saw the movie at Blitz Cyber Park, Bekasi. I tell you what, it was my first time watching a movie at Blitz. There is no Blitz or iMax yet in my city. I usually watch movies at XXI or E-Plaza.

The special thing about Blitz is the theme, I mean the decoration of the theatre. It has many cool spots to take pictures, especially for those who like selfie or even wefie. Of course, the price of the movie ticket is more expensive than XXI.

I went there with my cousin and her family. I had caramel popcorn and Sprite. Honestly, I haven’t drunk such pop for a long time but I ignored my diet for a while. The popcorn was tasty and it’s 5k dearer than the medium size because I ate the large one.

To be honest, there were only ten people inside who watched Trolls. I didn’t know why. Perhaps it’s Friday night and people usually come on Saturday night.

Trolls movie is for all ages, especially children. Don’t feel allergic with children movies. Why? You know, it’s because they always have nice moral values. Those movies want to teach children about life and adults will have no sin if we watch those movies too.

Moreover, watching movies at cinemas is a kind of appreciation we give to the actors or the actresses and also the production houses. Again, making a movie is not easy and we need to appreciate what is in front of us. Plus, going to a cinema with your boyfriend/girlfriend or family can be fun. Make your quality time with them. Okay! See ya!

Flying through the Sky

Hey, Maders! I just got back from Jakarta, you know, the capital city of Indonesia. It’s been a pleasure to travel with planes. Flying through the air can save my time. Less than an hour, I’ve moved to another city. If I catch a bus or train, I will be madly tired.

It’s fun to look what is outside the window of a plane. I always see clouds (sometimes dark or brightly white), blue sky, buildings, houses, roads, rivers, and many more. I use my sunglasses to avoid exhausted look from my eyes because of the long boarding time.

Praying for a sunny day and clear sky is necessary and I do it as well. Can you imagine if a thunder strikes your plane while you’re inside? Scary! Moreover, the view won’t be as pretty as it’s supposed to be.

It may be silly but I’ve ever had a dream job as a flight attendant. Honestly I’m not really beautiful and tall. They need someone in a good shape and mine is normal, not ideal. Haha. I’d be better just being a lecturer in the future. Amin.

FYI, you have to wait a little while for taking your baggage. I’ve come to the arrival gate but my bags usually aren’t coming yet. I need to stand up approximately ten minutes.

Somehow everything in airports will be more expensive than its normal price. I feel reluctant to buy something because I’m a thrifty girl. If it’s not really needed, I will hold my desire for buying things.

When I’m about to buy plane tickets, I will choose the cheapest ones. It usually has direct flight to the destination. The price will be dearer if airways serve food and transits.

Well, that’s all for this time. Before I quit, I’d like to give you some tips when traveling with planes. Here they are:
- come to the airport in time before boarding schedule
- take care of your stuff, especially when you travel alone
- turn on airplane mode on your phone while flying
- always use your seatbelt as long as you sit, except going to restroom

- keep calm and pray, plus enjoy the flight!
