Hi, Maders! How’re you today? Good,
right? Hope you’re all right wherever you are. By the way, I’ve just got some
pictures from my friend in Japan, Harue-san. She’s a local public employee and
her specialty is architecture. She checks drawing of buildings before and after
the construction started to find out whether the reality is same or not with
what has been planned.
She said to me that Indonesian dish is
like Japanese because it has the same sense of taste. Both of them are
delicious. Glad to know this because as long as she visited my country, I was
the one explaining her about food. Haha
She showed me the food she ate in her
office while working. There a few pictures below as you can see:
Let’s talk about the first one. On the
left side is called ‘Hiya yakko’ (a tofu made from soybeans with scallion and
dried bonito) and she had it with soy souse. ‘Saba no Shioyaki’ is the grilled
mackerel with salt. ‘Daikon no Miso Dengaku’ is dadish boiled with soup and the
souse is sweet, Miso souse. ‘Miso shiru’ is the soup of miso made from
soybeans. The yellow one is ‘takuwan’ (pickle of Japanese radish). The last is
rice and green tea.
Next, the second picture. The yellow
one is ‘omuretu’, the vegetables and the meat in the egg, and the tomato souse.
The center is ‘agedashi tofu’, fried tofu with soup, and the pickle of
vegetables, rice, and miso soup.
This Sunday afternoon, Harue-san was
eating ‘okonmiyaki’. It is savory pancake with various ingredients. Seems so
tasty. Oh, I feel like trying them. How about you, Maders? Let’s find a
Japanese restaurant, shall we!
